Hello - My name is Derek Stane, and I recently received some life changing news regarding my cousin, Kristi Castro. Kristi, who is like a sister to me, has been recently diagnosed with cancer. She is tackling her diagnosis head on but is facing some financial challenges given her new circumstances. She is currently in a rehabilitation facility in Visalia, California and is unable to work. She is currently on temporary disability, but funds are still tight. She started Chemotherapy on May 13, 2024, and while she does have health insurance, there are copays that need to be paid for just about everything. For example, it's $50 a day just for transportation from the rehab facility to the hospital for her daily treatment. Her treatment will consist of at least two rounds of daily treatments for two weeks. The costs can add up quickly. As a result, I'm reaching out to my friends and her friends and asking for your help. Kristi is a woman of great faith who is always willing to help her family and friends. Now, it is our turn to help her.
