Hey Yall! Kristina is one of the most selfless, resilient people you’ll ever meet. After losing her mother nine years ago, she stepped up in her mid-20s to raise her 15-year-old brother, becoming his safe place when the world fell apart. She’s endured unimaginable loss, including a stillbirth ten years ago, and went on to become an incredible mom to her daughter Monroe. Kristina put herself through college and cosmetology school when she was younger, and during COVID, when she was not considered an essential worker, she was forced to pause and rebuild. I watched her pick herself back up from that setback and slowly build her life and career again from the ground up through grit, heart, and pure hustle. She is the kind of person who gives back every chance she gets, organizing care packages for NICU nurses every year on her son’s birthday, collecting gifts for foster teens at Christmas, and constantly showing up for others, even when she has little support herself.

Right now, Kristina is hospitalized with severe preeclampsia at just 26 weeks pregnant and is being closely monitored as doctors work to keep her and her baby safe for as long as possible. With her unable to work and facing an extended hospital stay, she needs her village to show up for her the way she’s shown up for so many. This fundraiser is to help cover her mortgage and essential bills so she can focus on staying strong, keeping her baby safe, and healing without the added stress of financial pressure.
