If you live in NuLu or have ever visited, you’ve likely seen Kristin Campbell and her pink-eared dog, Lucy, walking side by side through the neighborhood. Recently, that familiar scene was shattered by a devastating accident. While walking home together in NuLu, Kristin and Lucy were struck by a car. Both suffered serious injuries and are now facing a long, difficult road to recovery.

Kristin is now facing not only the physical pain and emotional trauma of the accident, but also the overwhelming financial burden of emergency medical care, ongoing treatment, and recovery. At the same time, her sweet dog and constant companion, Lucy, remains hospitalized and is receiving critical medical care.
