Support Kristie and Adam's Recovery from Disaster

Hi I’m raising funds for my sister Kristie and her husband Adam whose home was devastated during Hurricane Helene and now Hurricane Milton. My sister has always been the first person to help out a friend or family member in need. We would always make a little fun of her and call her house the “halfway house” because she would always be taking someone in who was going through a hard time and wouldn’t want a thing in return. As soon as anybody was in trouble she would hop the next flight and come back home or wherever and just be there for us/them. My sister has been a true constant and the main strength in our family through everything. Adam has been the best addition to our family with his helpfulness always and his kind way. Now it’s time to help them!!. They just recently purchased a home in July and moved from a two story condo into a ranch style dream home. They have worked so hard their whole lives and finally was starting to see the fruits of their labor. Well that’s until hurricane Helene came barreling through and she has literally lost 95% of basically “their life’s work”. Her and her husband have yet to return to see what more damage Hurricane Milton has done. The past week and a half they, along with wonderful friends and some family have gutted their home and have thrown out their entire house and personal belongings on their front lawn. This has been extremely taxing emotionally and physically on her, her husband Adam and her son Ryan who lives with them as well. I really can’t think of anyone more deserving of some help

right now. They will be going back and forth with insurance and adjusters for the next few months and is uncertain as to how this will all turn out for them. Kristie’s husband Adam is self employed and hasn’t been able to work the last couple of weeks. All I’m asking is that for once we are here for Kristie and Adam! They have never ever turned their back on anyone….and if we can make their lives a little bit easier during this uncertainty and down right just in need of help anything would be appreciated!
