Hey, hey! Kristi Smith is in a unique situation: not only one but BOTH of her children will be undergoing kidney transplant surgery on September 5 in Birmingham. For over a year, her son Tanner has been in end-stage kidney failure. Even though he has been on the transplant list at UAB for sometime, no potential donors have been a match--until now. Lindsey is Kristi's daughter and also a match for her brother. What a tremendous blessing! Because both Tanner and Lindsey will need to be near the hospital for nearly two months, Kristi is booking an Airbnb.
