<div>Hey, hey! Kristi Smith is in a unique situation: not only one but BOTH of her children will be undergoing kidney transplant surgery on September 5 in Birmingham. For over a year, her son Tanner has been in end-stage kidney failure. Even though he has been on the transplant list at UAB for sometime, no potential donors have been a match--until now. Lindsey is Kristi's daughter and also a match for her brother. What a tremendous blessing! Because both Tanner and Lindsey will need to be near the hospital for nearly two months, Kristi is booking an Airbnb. This is costly, and other expenses related to this monumental event are more than one family should bear alone. This is how we can help in small ways that can collectively have a large impact.
