Support Kristen: A Nurse and Mom in Need

Hi everyone, my name is Tessa and I've started this GoFundMe to help out my mom. While she doesn't know I'm setting this up, I know she could use the money, as she was recently in a car accident that totaled her vehicle, left her with a severe concussion, and some other injuries. Kristen is a visiting nurse and a mom of 8 who selflessly gives shelter, rides, and food to any of her children's friends that need it, and on weekends she often delivers and feeds the food insecure in Pittsfield. On top of her car accident, we've had family in and out of the hospital, loss of family members, and ongoing private family matters involving the kids, including my two cousins that she has sole custody of. She's been stuck with an expensive rental car since the accident, and now that summer is over and school is back in session, she needs a reliable vehicle to get the kiddos to and from school every day as most of them do not take the bus. Her birthday is coming up (September 10th) and I'd love to help her get back on her feet, and get back to doing the things she loves and needs to do to provide for our family. I know this is a big ask, but she selflessly does so much for everyone else that I know our community will pull through for her.
