Hi, we are KIWI, a Sensory Art & Play club, creating a fun place for children living with disabilities.
In the heart of North Glasgow, where families face particular socio-economic challenges and underfunded services, KIWI is making a difference. Our FREE after-school club offers a safe, inclusive space for children living with complex special needs and additional support needs (ASN). For many families who cannot afford specialised programs, KIWI provides their child’s only opportunity for social interaction and play outside of school.
Since 2019, we have worked closely with the Sighthill community, recognising a lack of suitable activities for children with unique sensitivities. Many of these children struggle to join other clubs due to overcrowded or noisy environments, leaving them feeling excluded.
KIWI was created to change that. Our sessions are tailored to each child’s needs, offering calm and supportive art based, playful activities where they can feel comfortable, make friends, and enjoy themselves. For these children, KIWI is more than a club - it’s a place to belong.
Why Your Support Matters . . .
KIWI operates in a community where household incomes are significantly below the national average. Many families are struggling with the rising cost of living. The demand for our service is growing and we will always aim to keep it FREE. Your support can help us keep KIWI running and free for families, allowing us to reach more people and ensure a fun, welcoming space where ASN children can thrive.
Join us in making a difference for these incredible kids. Together, we can keep the joy alive at KIWI!
