The Christian Recovery Centers has been a cornerstone in the Dublin community, providing support and resources to individuals seeking recovery from substance abuse. Our mission is to offer a safe, nurturing environment where residents can heal and rebuild their lives through structured programs and community support.

I am writing on behalf of the Christian Recovery Centers in Dublin, Georgia, to request funding for a vital project: upgrading and remodeling our kitchen to meet current health codes and accommodate our growing community. Our center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals overcome addiction and regain their independence, and our kitchen is an essential part of this mission.
As our population continues to expand, our existing kitchen facilities are no longer sufficient to meet the needs of the hundreds of individuals and families we serve. Our kitchen must be upgraded to comply with local health codes, enhance safety, and improve service capacity. These improvements are critical for providing nutritious meals, a cornerstone of our residents’ recovery journey.
We are seeking funding to:

Upgrade Equipment: Purchase commercial-grade appliances to improve efficiency and safety.
Remodel Layout: Redesign the kitchen layout to optimize workflow and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Construction and Materials: Cover the costs of construction and necessary materials to complete the remodeling.
The upgraded kitchen will allow us to:
- Serve a greater number of individuals and families in need.
- Improve meal quality and safety, directly supporting recovery efforts.
- Enhance our ability to offer culinary training programs, providing residents with valuable skills for future employment.
Commercial Stove and Oven: $3,000
- A high-capacity stove and oven to accommodate larger meal preparation.

Refrigeration Units:** $2,000
- Purchase of energy-efficient refrigerators or freezers to store food safely.
Dishwasher:** $1,500
- A commercial-grade dishwasher to ensure quick and efficient cleaning of dishes.
Miscellaneous Small Appliances:** $1,500
- Includes items like mixers, food processors, and other essential tools.
2. Construction and Renovation ($6,000)**
Plumbing and Electrical Work:** $2,500
- Upgrades to plumbing and electrical systems to support new equipment.
Structural Modifications:** $2,000
- Minor renovations, such as wall adjustments or structural reinforcements, to optimize kitchen layout.
Flooring and Finishing:** $1,500
- Installation of durable and easy-to-clean flooring, as well as painting and other finishing touches.
3. Permits and Compliance ($1,500)**
Health and Safety Permits:** $1,000
- Fees for necessary permits and inspections to ensure compliance with local health codes.
Pots and Pans :** $500
- New pots and pans to support large numbers
We believe that this project will have a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve and the broader Dublin community.
