5th Annual Kirtland Freecycle Fundraiser

If you've participated in the Kirtland Freecycle Facebook Group (now over 1,400 members strong!) over the past five years, you've helped build a generous community of reuse—neighbors passing along items they no longer need so others can put them to good use, keeping useful things out of landfills and in circulation. You've probably also saved some money or time in the process!

This year’s fundraiser supports the Kirtland Police Department’s “Shop with a Cop” Program, which provides holiday gifts for local families who could use a little extra cheer.

Our goal is $1,400....$1.00 for every member of our page!

How to Donate

• GoFundMe: All donations will be collected electronically to ensure transparency, minimize fees, and allow for a final cashier’s check made payable directly to the program. A photo of the check will be posted on the Kirtland Freecycle page.

• Direct Check: Prefer to donate in person?

Make checks payable to “Kirtland Police Association” with “Shop with a Cop” in the memo line.

Drop off at Kirtland City Hall by December 15.

In 2024, Kirtland Freecycle proudly contributed $900 to the Shop with a Cop program—covering nearly 34% of the total $2,620.95 raised. Together, we helped provide meaningful gifts and essential support to 10 families and 25 children.
