Dear Friends and family,

I am excited to announce that I have been accepted to intern with Project Rescue this summer! Project Rescue is a ministry under the Assemblies of God World Missions that exists to rescue and restore victims of sexual slavery through the love and power of God. The Project Rescue network was started in 1997 and currently exists in 43 cities throughout 16 different countries.

This summer I will travel to Ecuador, where I will work with the women and children in Project Rescue programs and provide overall assistance and relief wherever needed! For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a missionary! Within the last couple of years the Lord has burdened my heart for lives who have been enslaved to the sex industry. These children of God deserve to be treated as such. Working with Project Rescue I have the opportunity to actively be a part of bringing hope and restoration to these women and children! The Lord has invited me to be a part of his redemption plan and I would like to invite you to partner with me!

There are a couple different ways that you can support me!

First, this 7 week internship will cost a total of $6000 for airfare, housing, meals, and other expenses. Will you consider prayerfully investing toward my mission and vision and, as a result, playing a part in the incredible things that God is doing through the Project Rescue network?

Second, would you please cover me and the Project Rescue team in your prayers. Pray for boldness and a sensitivity to the Spirit. Pray for receptiveness of hearts that will be reached. Pray that relationships would be built and empowerment be sustained. Pray that the Lord’s will be done, on Earth as in Heaven.

This is not easy work, but the co-founder of Project Rescue, Dr. Beth Grant, famously says, “If evil people can work together for the purposes of sexual exploitation, why can’t good people – God’s people – work together to bring hope and freedom?”
