A Plea for Humanity: Supporting Burmese Communities in Need 

Friends, Imagine being forced from your home by a brutal conflict, leaving everything behind to seek safety. This is the reality for countless Burmese families who have fled to Thailand or remain displaced within Burma, struggling to survive amidst a devastating civil war that has ravaged their country for decades. 

We are a group of volunteers from around the world, based in Chiang Mai, Thailand, who are dedicated to providing essential aid and support to these vulnerable communities. We have witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of the ongoing conflict, exacerbated by the military coup of February 1, 2021. 

Our small organization: Kinetic Resolutions Foundation, operates under the legal umbrella of Shade Tree Foundation in Thailand to reach those in need both in Thailand and within Burma itself. 

The situation is dire: 

Inside Burma: Many are trapped in internal displacement camps (IDP camps) with limited access to basic necessities. Medical clinics are overwhelmed and under-resourced. 

In Thailand: Refugees face a precarious existence, often living in makeshift settlements with limited access to healthcare and education. Landmines pose a constant threat, and the trauma of war weighs heavily on individuals and families. 

Your compassion can make a difference: With your support, we can: Provide vital medical aid to clinics in Burma and along the Thai border, ensuring access to essential healthcare for those affected by the conflict. 

Deliver crucial support to IDP camps within Burma, including food, water, shelter, and medical supplies. 

Offer medical training to empower local communities to care for their own. Continue to provide essential aid such as clothes, books, blankets, and toys to families in need, particularly women and orphans in Thailand. 

Expand our educational programs to provide children with the hope of a brighter future.
