On Christmas Day just after 1am a family of seven experienced a devastating tragedy that forever changed their holiday and their lives. Kim was awakened by a very loud bang. After checking on everyone he went to the garage to check on his puppies. When he opened the door he saw 5 foot flames on the garage wall. With little time to react the family rushed to get everyone out of the house safely.

Tragically, one of the family puppies did not survive the fire, leaving the family not only grieving the loss of their home, but also the loss of a pet who was deeply loved.

This family is now working to rebuild their lives and are facing unexpected expenses for temporary housing, clothing, necessities, and the long process of repairing or replacing their home. During this already challenging season, they are leaning on the kindness and generosity of others to help them recover and begin healing.

I have known Kim for over 20 years, he has always been a positive, loving, caring human that always puts others first. He has poured all his love into the world and his family and now he needs our community to have his back!
