Support Kimisa's Family: Housing & Hope

Hey! My name is Kimisa and I am a soon-to-be mom of three beautiful little girls. My girls are 4 years of age, 1 year of age, and one soon to be born at the end of August.

I am creating this GoFundMe page in hopes that it would help me and my girls get a great living condition and maybe a car. I came to Baytown, Texas from a small island named Saint John, USVI, in hopes that I can create a new beginning and better life for my girls and myself. Sadly, I wasn’t aware of the drastic life difference from island to mainland life.

I’ve been here from January to now in search of jobs and proper housing, but unfortunately came to dead ends. I’ve spent my entire savings keeping a roof over our heads to where I have no more funds. I was a little embarrassed to make this page because I didn’t want to be judged or mocked for this, but my children’s safety and well-being come first. I’ve literally hit rock bottom at this point to where my sublease is almost up in a month and a half.

If you can, and I’m not asking for a lot, but may I please get a helping hand of some sort? It doesn’t have to be much, but anything at this point helps me and my girls.
