Hi, my name is Kimberly. We are currently trying to find a medium ground as we grapple with the after effects of how mental illness recently affected our family.

Our worst nightmare began recently when my husband unfathomably lit himself and our car on fire while in an uncontrollable state of mind. My loving husband had a history of mental illness but never any indication, as in most cases, that this was going to happen. Tragically, we lost my husband in this fire, something we sadly can't change.

All I want now is to try to bring my family to a better place, move forward as best as we can, and help our sons navigate through school and life. We're trying to recuperate our lost vehicle, and get some help with our financial burdens at this time. We're grateful for all the support from our family, friends, and even kind strangers. Our cat that ran away during the fire was found and returned by a kind soul. Any amount you can help with is truly appreciated. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
