Hi, my name is Jennifer Sipos, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart. My mom, Kimberly Norwood, is currently in the hospital, fighting for her life. She has been battling severe pneumonia and complications due to COPD for about a week now. She’s been intubated, and while we’re hopeful, there is a long road ahead as she continues to fight.

My mom is the definition of strength and resilience. Throughout her life, she has faced incredible obstacles with a smile on her face and a tough attitude that refuses to back down. Born with spina bifida, she was told she would never walk and never have children. But my mom defied those doctors and proved them wrong, walking and raising a family. Her determination is unmatched. She is as stubborn as a rock, and we believe the same strength will help her overcome this.

Right now, my dad is by her side every day, taking time off from work to be there for her, supporting her, and making sure she has everything she needs. But with all that’s happening, life doesn’t stop. The bills keep coming, and we’re reaching out to our community for help.

We’re asking for support as we navigate the emotional and financial burden of this situation. Every little bit will help ease the stress of medical bills, daily expenses, and help ensure my mom can continue to focus on healing.
