Support Kim Lattisaw After Tragic Loss
Donation protected
My name is Christina Gehman and I'm one of the many people helping support Kim Lattisaw and her family during this devastating time due to an immeasurable loss. I am absolutely heartbroken to see my best friend of almost 20 years living out this nightmare.
Kim's husband, Rodney, passed away tragically and unexpectedly on January 15th at the young age of 39. He served in the United States Army and was known for his unique laugh, corny jokes, love of anything Marvel, and working on his fitness. They have two beautiful kids together, Lawson (almost 6) and Leilani (who will be 4 in April) and of course their fur baby Max. If you knew Rodney, you know his family meant the world to him, and his greatest joys were being a father and husband.
If you know Kim, you know she is an incredible wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, social worker, child development advocate, mental health supporter, and this list could go on. Kim is as selfless, generous, and empathetic as they come. She is also a very independent woman and is learning to lean on her village during this transition.
We are hoping to help raise funds to assist Kim and her family as she faces the unimaginable task of navigating this new reality and ultimately raising two young kids on her own. Amid her grief, Kim is also tasked with the challenge of navigating both the VA and Social Security Administration to try to apply for any benefits they are entitled to, which can take several months.
Donations from family, friends, and colleagues will go directly to helping with monthly household expenses, groceries, and any needs of the kids as Kim eases back into the workplace. Any donation, no matter how small, makes a difference and we thank you deeply for your support and prayers.
