My name is Kim Chung, and I'm currently residing in Memphis, TN. My immediate family (mom, dad, younger brother) lives in El Monte, CA.

My dad (in his 70s) recently got his work days reduced significantly, from 5 days to 2 days a week. My mom works part-time and her hours are getting cut, too. Like many others, my family lives pay check to pay check. This significant reduction in their work hours are going to have a detrimental impact on their finances. Next month might look very different than this month and the unknown is terrifying.

Rent prices have continued to increase every single year. My family has been searching to move to a more affordable place. If anyone has any contacts or finds any places in the SGV for rent, please reach out to me & let me know.

My younger brother is finishing his senior year of high school right now, so my desire is to help keep them in the city/nearby. This sudden change has caused stress on everyone, and I want my younger brother to just focus on finishing school & not worry about bills just yet.

I wish I was able to be physically there to aid them, but I can't at the moment. I know so much is going on in our country right now.
