Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

I’m reaching out during a very difficult time. As most of you know, my mother’s physical and mental health has declined significantly and quickly, as her cancer has metastasized, and she is no longer able to be left alone. I will need to take an extended leave from work to care for her, which may also include transitioning her to hospice care. This is a decision we are facing with very heavy hearts.

This situation is both financially and emotionally taxing, and as much as it pains me to ask, I need your help. As most of you know FMLA, to care for a family member, is unpaid, and like most folks, we rely on every paycheck to make ends meet. Your support will allow me to focus on my mom’s care without the added stress of financial concerns.
