I’m reaching out to ask for help for my sister, Kim, who is facing an uphill legal battle to protect her two sons.

For years, Kim has raised her boys almost entirely on her own. She has covered their food, clothing, medical care, school needs, therapy, transportation, and all daily expenses — while their father has not consistently contributed financially or been actively involved.

The boys now live 100% with Kim, but she has never had the financial means to pursue fair child support or proper legal protection through the court system.

Once again, their father has hired an attorney. Kim cannot afford one.

She is preparing for a complex custody and child support proceeding alone, against someone who owns property, runs multiple businesses, and has the financial resources to be legally represented.

We are asking for help so that Kim does not have to walk into court without legal counsel — and so her sons’ needs and best interests can be properly represented.

Funds raised will be used for:

    •    Attorney retainer and hourly legal fees

    •    Court and filing costs

    •    Document preparation and subpoena fees

Any remaining funds will go directly toward the boys’ needs, including therapy and school-related expenses.
