Kiamichi Cares - Paying Forward

Kiamichi Cares is a local pay it forward movement serving the Kiamichi Wilderness Community and surrounding areas of Pushmataha County, Oklahoma.. Services are provided through organized projects, earmarked donations and volunteers.

The types of projects include personal assistance with family needs, restoration of impassable road conditions, litter patrol and the preservation of the Wilderness environment.

Kiamichi Cares was founded by the late Patrick William Coleman and paid forward by Tara Stevens, along with numerous volunteers.

A steering committee was recently formed to refine the legal standing and accountability of Kiamichi Cares. The committee has incorporated the organization and expanded services. Funds raised here will be used for administrative expenses related to these expanded and legacy service.
