I am an organizer, writer and artist who has been building working-class solidarity in brooklyn for the last 5 years. I raised a daughter as a young mother but have not been able to live with her since 2016.

In 2018, I moved into what I would later find out was an illegal basement dwelling. The landlord rented it to me knowing that it was an unsafe environment. 5 years later and after fighting a life-threatening carbon-monoxide leak, I finally left to move into a temporary living situation.

My partner is a producer whose work has been gaining success and notoriety. I am a writer and artist who is seeking work but I have had to accept that I must fund raise to change my housing situation as soon as I can. I am looking for short term funds so I can change my living situation, reunite with my daughter, and continue the work I am so devoted to.
