Dear Friends and family.......

At the end of the day on Friday, 22 November 2024, it was raining and starting to get dark. I received the most gut-wrenching, terrifying, and frightening phone call of my life. My daughter Khadija was on the other end of the line, and I could not understand her for about three minutes as she screamed and mumbled in tears before I understood she was in a terrible car accident and frightened out of her mind. I thank God every day it's only broken spirit with no broken bones.

Her car is a total loss.

We could really, really use your support in helping to obtain another car for her as this is the only means for her to get to work. Even with insurance, it will not cover the cost of replacing her car.
