Hi, my name is Megan and I am trying to raise $200 for my dad. His name is Kevin Clements, and he is 68 years old. He has had a hard time adjusting to living in a nursing home. Before he was placed there, he had a series of unfortunate circumstances that landed him there. My dad has early dementia and narcolepsy. The unfortunate event that happened was he fell asleep while cooking twice, which caught his apartment on fire. Thankfully, it was extinguished before he or anyone else was hurt. Well, actually, the second time he broke his ankle, and that’s when he went into a rehabilitation facility. He was also evicted from his home. See, he is on a fixed income of getting social security. You all know how expensive everything is. My dad’s apartment was through the Housing Authority - which is like HUD & Section 8 - there weren’t any other options but to keep him in the nursing home. Then all of his things went into a storage unit. This is where we need help. His storage unit payments are behind. We need help getting the money to get back on track, and then I can help him sort through the important stuff and get rid of what’s not important. The hope is to not keep paying for it much longer.

As of right now, he will lose his entire life of belongings on Monday 9/8 if I cannot come up with the money.

Kevin is truly heartbroken that he may be losing everything. He has already lost his freedom due to being in the nursing home. He is still young and has life to live. He is just having a very difficult time dealing with all of this.

Please, if you could donate anything, it would mean so much to him. It would mean a lot to me too, because I can’t stand watching my dad cry. It breaks my heart too.
