I'm raising money to help my cousin, Kevin Bejarano, a 23 year-old living in Colombia who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy. This progressive and debilitating disease has severely limited his mobility, and he is now facing serious complications with his respiratory system, which have made his condition even more critical.

Kevin lives with his mother, who is his full-time caregiver. She helps him with every aspect of daily life from eating to using the bathroom with constant dedication and love. Unfortunately, the emotional and financial toll on their small household has become overwhelming.

The funds raised will go directly toward Kevin’s medical expenses, including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and essential medical equipment to improve his quality of life. Your support will also help ease the burden on his mother, who continues to care for him tirelessly.

Estoy recaudando dinero para ayudar a mi primo, Kevin Bejarano, un joven de 21 años que vive en Colombia y ha sido diagnosticado con distrofia muscular de Duchenne. Esta es una enfermedad progresiva y debilitante que ha reducido gravemente su movilidad, y recientemente ha comenzado a tener serias complicaciones respiratorias que han empeorado su estado de salud.

Kevin vive con su mamá, quien es su cuidadora a tiempo completo. Ella lo ayuda con todas las actividades diarias desde comer hasta ir al baño con un amor y entrega incondicionales. Sin embargo, la carga emocional y económica que enfrentan ha sido muy difícil de sobrellevar.

El dinero recaudado será destinado directamente a cubrir los gastos médicos de Kevin, incluyendo tratamiento físico, terapia respiratoria y el equipo médico que necesita para mejorar su calidad de vida. También servirá para aliviar un poco la carga que su madre asume cada día con tanto sacrificio.
