Support Kerstin's Mission to Aid Her Community

Hello, my name is Kimberly Ringer. I’m starting this GoFundMe for one of my very best high school friends, Kerstin Applegate. Kerstin and her family thankfully evacuated and survived Hurricane Helene. They are safely back in their home, but their community needs help and supplies. They live 1 hour from Lake Lure, NC. People are still trapped without water and power. Most bridges and roads are washed out. It has been 10 days. Kerstin dropped off supplies today to her local fire department, but they need a lot more. This GoFundMe will help Kerstin get the needed supplies to her community. They need blankets, clothes, water, baby formula, canned food, etc. Anyone that knows Kerstin knows what an amazing, selfless woman she is. Tonight, as we cried together on the phone and she described the horrific situation, she said she may not have a truck anymore; a tree is still on top of it. 'I have a minivan and I’m going to fill that van up and help my community.'
