URGENT NEED: Dive Equipment for Volunteer Search and Rescue Team – Kerrville, TX
We are a small group of retired military dvers who have been volunteering in ongoing body recovery and water rescue efforts in and around the Kerrville area. We’ve been using our own gear—most of it not suited for the hazardous, contaminated water conditions we’re diving in. We dive in pairs, so 2 of each would me a minimum.
We are in desperate need of the following critical dive equipment at a minkmum:
· Full-face mask dive regulators: 2 needed, https://a.co/d/9wdkBdk
· Drysuits: 2 needed, similar to these https://a.co/d/8ufyXFN (size Large)
This gear is essential for our safety and effectiveness in these high-risk environments. Full-face masks protect against contaminated water, improve underwater communication, and drastically reduce the risk of exposure.
We are reaching out to the community for donations, gear loans, or financial assistance toward acquiring this equipment. This gear will absolutely make the difference in our ability to safely continue this mission.
If you or someone you know can help—whether through gear, funding, or connections to dive shops or equipment providers—please reach out. We’re deeply grateful for any support.
