My best friend Kerri is the most generous person I know. She donates to all the fundraisers we hold; she pulled not 1, not 2, but 10 tags from our giving tree this Christmas. She is so selfless and kind to all who cross her path.

On January 5th, her world was turned upside down in an instant. Kerri’s partner and father of her 2-year-old was tragically killed in an avalanche.

Her love, best friend, protector, and financial stability are gone. She went from living a comfortable life to facing the unknown of the future and how things will be settled. Chris worked extremely hard for his family, but everything was in his business and she is not an heir.

Kerri and Chris were not married, although together for 10 years. Unfortunately, there was no life insurance policy as a safety net. Kerri has also committed to keeping a relationship with Chris’s older two girls from a previous marriage so they can keep connected with their little sister, Penny. All this comes at more additional cost. She won’t be able to work as much as previously due to now being a single mom of a toddler.

Kerri is a person who always puts good out into the world and now, she needs some good to return to her. Please, anything you can do to help this family in the worst of times is greatly appreciated.
