My name is Kennidi McManigal, and I am a Life Scout with Troop 2019 in La Mirada, California.

I am currently working toward earning my Eagle Scout rank—the highest achievement in Scouting. One of the final requirements for Eagle Scout is to plan and lead a service project that benefits the community.

I am an 8th-grade student at St. Bruno School in Whittier. I am also a member of the Whittier Club Volleyball team and enjoy surfing in my free time. I have been involved in Scouting since I was six years old, beginning as a Tiger Cub.

For my Eagle Scout Project, I will be creating a Memory Garden to honor past teachers and students at St. Bruno School. This project is especially meaningful to me because I have attended St. Bruno for the past ten years, and I wanted to give back to a school that has given so much to me.

In addition to serving as a peaceful and beautiful space for reflection, the garden will also support the school’s Science Department by providing a hands-on learning environment.

I am currently raising funds to bring this project to life. My goal is to raise $3,500 to cover excavation, construction of flower beds, and the installation of a state-of-the-art sundial.
