Help Kelly Heal and Rebuild Her Life

One year ago, my twin sister Kelly was in a domestic situation that left her nothing but the clothes on her back. She stayed in that situation far too long because of her big heart and desire to help someone in need. Kelly has always been the kind of person who works tirelessly, and spreads love to everyone she encounters. Friends often call her by the nickname of "Smiley" because of her bright, contagious smile that lights up any room.

I’m posting this on Kelly's behalf, though she is unaware I’m doing so, because as her twin sister, I know how much she has been struggling. The emotional toll this experience has taken on her is heartbreaking. The vibrant, charismatic person I once knew now feels distant, and her smile has faded. The legal process is moving slowly, and the costs are more than Kelly can bear on her own. Right now, she is struggling to get back on her feet, and it pains me to see her so broken.

In addition to the emotional toll, Kelly has also faced significant financial burdens. Additionally, she has also had to deal with car and property damage adding to the already overwhelming expenses and layers of challenges she’s trying to manage. With all that has happened this past year, Kelly has been so focused on legal issues that she hasn’t had the ability to focus on anything else, which has only made it harder to get back on her feet. The costs are more than Kelly can bear alone, and she needs help to move forward.
