Hi, my name is Kelly Chadee (Forbes), and I’m reaching out for support as I rebuild my life after serving 17 years incarcerated. I am also a domestic violence survivor who has worked hard to overcome trauma and reclaim my independence. I was released with nothing but hope, determination, and a passion to start over and create a better future.
Before incarceration, I was a trained hairdresser, caregiver, and administrative assistant in a medical office. Now, I’m working hard to get back on my feet and return to doing what I love—making others feel confident and beautiful through hair and beauty services.
I am raising funds for the following:
• Buy hairstyling tools and supplies
• Setting up a small home salon
• Refresher courses in cosmetology and business training
• Covering basic needs during my transition period
Reentry is not easy—especially with limited resources, a long gap in work history, and healing from past abuse. But I am committed to doing the work and creating an honest, sustainable life for myself. Your support, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to independence and success.
Thank you for believing in second chances and for helping someone determined to rise again.
