Support a Neighbor's Urgent Needs

This fund is to help Kelly and Max, who are stranded in our neighborhood

Hello Community,

I recently learned something heartbreaking—Kelly has been living and sleeping in her trailer, outside, since August. Her broken truck and trailer are parked in our neighborhood. She sleeps inside the cargo trailer. Vulnerable. As the nights grow colder, her situation has become an invisible crisis.

Many of you have walked right by her or driven past her black trailer and truck daily or weekly, without even noticing. It’s unfathomable that right around the corner of each one of us is someone scared, hungry, and cold.

Kelly’s truck and trailer are her only assets, but both are inoperable—the trailer has a broken axle, and the truck needs an alternator, battery, and other repairs. Without these fixes, she has no way to move or sell them, leaving her in an impossible situation.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help Kelly.

This amount will cover the repairs for her truck and trailer and provide some immediate relief as they face this difficult time. Any additional funds will be donated to Shepherd's Table, with donation receipts shared for full transparency.
