Support The Hounshell's with Reliable Transportation

Hi everyone, my name is Deanna (Dedee) daughter of Kelly "Gene" & Dolores "Dee" Hounshell. I'm really hoping to raise money for my parents, toward a newer vehicle OR repairs on an older one they have that is not running. The vehicle that mom (Dolores "Dee") is currently driving has some issues and I don't feel it's going to be very safe for her to drive all winter (it's a 2 wheel drive pick up).

As many or most of you know, dad (Kelly "Gene" ) suffered a stroke this past spring and then through the summer (had afib surgery) and became very sick with ecoli in his bloodstream. This complication set him back some, along with having had a stroke, he now has many medical/doctors appointments as well as physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy several times a week. These appointments are anywhere from 20 minutes to an hours drive away.

Unfortunately, dad has not been able to mow or do his normal jobs and is unable to drive, so he will not be plowing this winter. My dad has always tried to help people and done jobs cheap or free out of the kindness of his heart when he was able--now it's their time of need and I'm hoping together we can help them out.
