Keith Hume is a friend and was our bar manager at UnCorked, Wine, Bar, Food and Music. He wore many hats, helping hire, train and maintain employees, booking bands, running sound, and building our social media presence. Keith also took the lead on our quarterly fundraisers, always caring for those in our community who needed a hand up. Now, he finds himself in need of help.

Since UnCorked closed in April, Keith has been searching for meaningful employment to provide for his disabled wife Eva and their two non-verbal autistic children, Lukas (5) and Samantha (4). He faced the difficult decision to either shut down his photography business and take a full-time management position, or continue with photography to maintain the flexibility needed to care for his family. While Keith was tirelessly looking for work, Eva contracted Covid, which triggered severe Lupus symptoms and C-PTSD, leaving her with extreme fatigue and pain. Keith has had to take on even more responsibilities at home, caring for the kids and managing therapy appointments, all while their savings dwindled away.

Recently, Keith thought he found a job that would allow him to balance work and family, but the reality was long hours, back pain, and no support from his employer. He made the hard decision to leave, prioritizing his family's needs.

With Christmas approaching and major bills piling up, Keith—the man who has always raised money for others—is now asking for help. Every little bit will make a difference for Keith, Eva, Lukas, and Samantha. Thank you for your support and kindness. God bless
