Support Keeghan's Fight for Recovery

Keeghan was 35 weeks pregnant & not feeling great, so she went to the hospital in Joshua Tree to check in, and after running some tests, they decided to rush her by ambulance to a Hospital in Palm Springs with a NICU, just in case.

Keeghans blood pressure was so high they couldn’t let her go home, and after 3 days in the hospital, they delivered baby Payton by C-Section. She is a tiny 4lbs 9oz 16.75 inches & the sweetest thing!

Nurses continued to monitor Keeghan’s blood pressure because it was so high. She was having a hard time breathing so they did a chest scan and found a blood clot in her lungs. They brought her to the ICU to extract it, and she had to stay separated from baby. Josh & Colette(keeghan’s mom) took turns taking care of Payton, and then going to be with Keeghan. Doctors were nervous there could be more blood clots, so they scheduled to surgically put a filter in her body to catch any other potential clots. In doing so, a clot escaped and attacked her heart, giving her a heart attack. She coded, but after 30 mins of CPR she took a breath. She was put on life support on Sunday, June 29th.

It has been a roller coaster battle, but Keeghan hasn’t stopped fighting. Her organs have been tested and are coming back good, and today her MRI of her brain came back “normal.” We still have a long journey ahead as she is still being assisted by machines, your prayers for a full recovery of the brain and body would be amazing, and if you feel led to donate, any amount would significantly benefit the journey that the Geidel’s are trudging through.
