Why I’m Asking for Help

Hello, my name is Kaylum. I’m a husband, a father, and a son doing my best to care for my family through an incredibly difficult time.

Not long ago, my mother lost my father. Since then, she has been fighting Alzheimer’s and has had stents put in her heart five times. She depends on me completely to get her to her constant doctor’s appointments. At the same time, I’m doing my best to support my wife and child at home.

Right now, we have no vehicle and living 32 miles from the nearest town makes this an emergency. Without reliable transportation, it’s almost impossible to get my mother the care she needs, provide for my wife and child, and keep our household going.

What Your Support Will Do

Your support will make it possible for me to purchase a dependable vehicle that allows me to:

Take my mom safely to her medical appointments and treatments.

Care for my wife and child without the constant stress of being stranded.

Regain stability and independence for my whole family.

Every dollar donated will go directly toward getting reliable transportation and keeping it running so I can care for my family:

$3,500 – Purchase of a dependable used vehicle

$800 – Initial repairs, insurance, and registration

$700 – Gas and ongoing transportation costs for medical appointments
