Hello! I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister, Kaylie.

My sister unexpectedly gave birth to my sweet little nephew, Rowyn, on the morning of May 28th at 32 weeks, weighing just 3 pounds!

Rowyn has been in the NICU at St. Joseph Hospital but due to challenges he has been facing he is now being flown to UCSF for more extensive care.

He is currently being transported to UCSF as of today, 6/2/25. We are unsure how long he will be there or what the following days or months entail at this time.

My sister will have to travel from Humboldt to the city regularly and leave behind her 8-year-old son, Rylan, who will be in the care of his dad, Nick, and family while Kaylie is with baby Rowyn.

My sister is not one to ask for help but is always there to lend a helping hand for those in need, so during this time, I would like to help relieve financial stress on her family. Kaylie cannot stay at the hospital and will need to get hotel rooms, pay for gas to go back and forth, food, etc., while Nick also juggles maintaining bills at home.
