Hi! My name is Kaylee and I’m a single mom to two boys. WE GOT APPROVED FOR A HOUSE!!!!

Back in June 2025, I chose to flee Washington state, and escape an awful domestic violence based relationship. My kids and I moved in with my mother back home in Alabama, and have been living with her while I gathered my footing and built up some resources. With a toddler and a teenager, we quickly outgrew sharing 2 bedrooms and a bath between the 3 of us.

I recently started a new job, making great money, and my grandfather helped me purchase a new, reliable vehicle. Things started looking up! Then I got the call on Saturday, February 7th, stating that we had been approved for a house that I had been on the waiting list for!!! (Income restricted housing)

Now, where I need the help….

I need help getting the utilities turned on in my name, and getting some essentials for our home. (Washer and dryer, furniture, etc)

Being able to get back into a place of my own, and building a safe haven for me and my boys, would make a drastic difference in this part of my healing journey.
