Thank you for considering donating to this cause. My Niece has been struggling with her mental health journey over the last year. She has been hospitalized for extended periods of time, 12 times in 2024 alone with ongoing treatment after each visit and continuing to this day with no current end in sight. We have almost lost Kaylee multiple times through this journey and my sister Alyssa and her husband Steven have had to endure pain this year that no parent should ever have to experience.

Unfortunately, due to the state of our current healthcare system, mental health care and resources are not easily accessible. There is a lack of awareness and support. For many of the hospitalizations they have had to travel from Wyoming to other states to get care increasing costs even further.

As of December 2024, this hardship has caused Kaylee's family to go into over $250,000 of medical debt, not counting the $30,000 they have already spent out of pocket.

On December 19, Alyssa went into Kaylee's room to find her unresponsive again, she is has been hospitalized again since then and may not be released for another 3-6 months.

This is such a sweet, loving, and kind family. No one deserves to go through the kind of hardship this family has endured and continues to endure. Although it is hard to put a number on it, we unfortunately see the ongoing hospitalizations and care to add up to more than $500,000 and they have fully exhausted all resources.
