I'm not sure where to begin with this description thing. Basically, life since filing for divorce back in 2023 has consisted largely of court hearings, petitions, and motions because my ex-husband has been determined to drag things out since day one. I thought we finally reached the end when the divorce was finalized last year, but unfortunately, that's not the case.

Because child care and custody are also things that can be battled out in court. Problem is, lawyers and lengthy court battles cost money, and unlike my ex, who has his family to pay for his legal fees, we live paycheck to paycheck and don't have that kind of support.

Navigating the court system without any kind of legal help is a nightmare and a guaranteed way to lose. So I'm asking you for help. All I want is to be involved in my son's life and move on from the ugliness of the past few years, but it's going to take a good lawyer to make that happen.
