Support daughter Kayla Marshall in Mom's sudden death..

North Carolina mother of 2 dies unexpectedly during a vacation week in Costa Rica after Officials there misdiagnose her condition. 43 year-old Ria Marshall, a family oriented loving dog owner, lived with diabetes since age 12. Properly cared for by American doctors she lived an active life, organizing many get togethers for her family. Now her body is being held in Costa Rica until her 23 year old daughter Kayla Marshall meets their demands for additional payment. And it's Kayla's young life that is now in upheaval. Not only in an ongoing one-sided struggle with foreign officials to return her Mom's body, Kayla is pushed into the role of head of household. A household where everything was in her Mother's name including her rent.

Kayla is unsurprisingly overwhelmed by her tragic loss as well as new responsibility thrust upon her this week to organize and pay for living expenses. And not to mention finding the means by which she can get her Mother's body returned to North Carolina for a proper family funeral.
