Help Us Lay Our Beloved Kay F Brown to Rest

It’s with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved grandmother, Kay Frances Brown — lovingly known to many as Mrs. Brown or Grandma Kay. Born on March 13, 1949, she was an incredibly loving, selfless, and caring woman who poured so much of herself into her family, friends, and community.

Her sudden passing has left our family heartbroken and struggling to cover her funeral expenses due to financial hardship.

To make matters even more difficult, just before her passing, her daughter and granddaughters were in a serious car accident while traveling back from Pittsburgh. While we’re beyond grateful they survived, the crash has placed an additional financial burden on our family as we work to bring them safely home to Indianapolis and support their recovery.

Due to the severity of her daughter Andrea’s injuries—which include four surgeries on her abdomen, pelvis, femur, and tibia—we also urgently need medical transportation to ensure she receives proper care and support during this difficult time. We also want to make sure her daughter can be in attendance for her mother’s funeral.

We are humbly asking for your support during this incredibly difficult time. Every single penny donated will go directly toward:

• Funeral and burial expenses for our beloved Kay Brown

• Travel, medical transportation, and recovery-related costs for her daughter and granddaughters
