My cousin Katie and her two beautiful daughters are facing a challenging time in their lives. After enduring abuse, they are now seeking freedom and a safe haven. However, the journey to rebuild their lives is hindered by the financial burden of legal fees. (She has attempted for three months now to get legal aid or a pro-bono lawyer, to no avail.)

If you don't know me, my name is Jennifer and I am Katie's cousin. I wanted to reach out to friends and family because I know you guys love and support them as much as I do. It breaks my heart to see the pain she's going through and I wish I lived closer so that I could do more to help.
