She is currently facing difficulties in the hospital, where she has been for nearly seven weeks, with intermittent hospital admissions. Consequently, she has been away from her family and is missing out on her life. Before her illness, Katie was an active member of her community, particularly in Bloomington, and continued to provide support after relocating and spending time with her children. katie moved to Weymouth, MA 2 years ago she is at South Shore Hospital in Pratt 3 room 317B now if you would like to visit or send something to her room. She might now have to live on a feeding tube, adult diapers, and chronic pain that is very hard to manage and this sudden news is troubling for her and her family. Katie has been an equine professional and was an Olympic hopeful at one point. Losing that in her life is quite devastating for her. They expect she will need several more surgeries over the next few years that will be very costly and she won’t be able to work anymore. She earned a Masters Degree in Political Justice and a focus in Public Safety now to be in a diaper, a feeding tube and more surgeries the family is feeling a lot of loss for her. She has 8 kids and will need to now hire a nanny to help care for them and her youngest is autistic. The kids are used to lots of costly sports like hockey, horseback riding, surfing, soccer…. You make it and the kids likely play it. Mom doesn’t want them to miss out on anything they love so much. Katie is a fighter and loves her kids so much she will figure out things but for right now this family needs your help please. Anything helps even if it’s a like and a share. Katie has done so much for so many other people pouring her heart into so much charity work. It’s hard for her to need the help. I wrote this for her because she is a good person and she helped my family to now own our own home and live wonderful lives where before we were going to lose our home that ultimately was condemned and torn down. Now we have a brand new home and my kids are safe thanks to Katie. Please help her if you can.
