Support Kathy Stempek's Fight Against Cancer

Hi everyone. My name is Sarah and I’m setting this up in honor of my best friend Kathy Stempek and her 2 boys.

For those that may not know, back in September of 2024, Kathy was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer. She’s been fighting her prognosis with chemotherapy that has been occurring every week and a half. As you can imagine, those take an extreme amount of strength out of you and put your life on hold, including your work life. This has caused her to go through all her vacation time, sick time, and anything else she might have saved.

As much as we are a stubborn group that doesn’t always like asking for help, when it comes to her children, she will do anything and puts them above all else. She has twin teenage boys (if you know the energy they have, you get it). For most of 2025, Kathy has had to rely on her savings or help, but that is tapped out.

We just found out that she will be needing to have surgery and then will be in the hospital, followed by the inability to drive or really go anywhere for 3 weeks (that includes work). So help is not an option anymore, it has become a necessity. All money raised will be going to her medical bills, their food, and cost of living.
