Hello, my name is Kayla Redd and I’m starting this fundraiser for my Aunt Kathy and Uncle Steven.

Recently, my aunt and uncle have fallen on hard times and are unable to keep up with their finances and home issues. They need several repairs to their home, but the most pressing is the presence of mold spores discovered in their air conditioning vents due to a water leak and a faulty unit.

They are both disabled and physically unable to address the repairs themselves. They are no longer able to run their air conditioning due to this, and they live in Bullhead City, AZ, where it is still currently in the 90s and reaches temps well into the 100s. The air conditioning company said they cannot turn on the unit because it will continue to spread the mold further, which is a danger to their health. My aunt's health has already been affected, and doctors have found mold spores on her lungs as well as other health issues she is facing. They currently don’t have the finances to get the mold issue repaired. They are on a fixed income, as they are both very disabled with limited mobility and confined to wheelchairs for daily chores like cooking, cleaning and simply getting around.

My Aunt Kathy is a kind and deeply caring woman who spent many years taking care of mentally handicapped patients before she was no longer physically able to herself. She is a selfless, loving person and desperately needs our help.
