Support Katherine's Medical Mission to the Philippines

Dear Friends and Family,

I'm excited to announce that I will be attending a Catholic Medical Mission in Tanauan-Batangas, Philippines through Helping Hands Medical Missions at the end of February, where I will be providing medical care, spiritual support, and much-needed resources to underserved communities. Many of these rural towns face a severe shortage of healthcare services, and HHMM is committed to bringing help where it is needed most.

My passion to care for others physically, emotionally and spiritually and help people feel loved, is one of the primary reasons I became a nurse. It has been a dream of mine to participate in a medical mission and I'm ecstatic to be embarking on this one with HHMM!

By contributing to this cause, you will help provide medical consultations, surgeries, eye care, medications, and more, while also helping us share the love and hope of Christ with the people we serve.

We will distribute vital medications, perform follow-up care for surgical patients, and even provide home visits to ensure those who cannot reach us receive the attention they need.

One of the unique aspects of our mission is the integration of spiritual care. Our participants will not only be delivering healthcare services, but they will also be part of a spiritual program that includes daily prayer, Mass, and meditation. Through home visits, we will share the faith with the local population, offering them not just physical healing but also spiritual comfort and support. This holistic approach to care — of both the body and soul — is what sets the Helping Hands Medical Mission apart.
