Support Katelyn's Family After Tragic Loss

My name is Jessica and I am Katelyn Walsh’s sister and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read our story.

It is hard to put into words the amount of pain and suffering our families have endured over the last few days but, now that everyone has been notified and things are starting to work themselves out, my family needs some prayers for Katelyn, my niece, Teagan and my two nephews, Liam and Declan.

On October 25th, their Dad tragically passed away in a fire on his house boat in Minnesota. If anyone knows these children, they know that Nick was a wonderful Dad to them. He did all the cool outdoorsy "guy things" with the boys but always made sure to make Teagan feel as though she wasn't feeling left out since she is more of a girly girl.

Nick was a loving son, a brother, an Uncle and friend to so many. The reality of how many lives this loss will touch is astounding. Grieving parents, 3 devastated children and 3 crushed brothers are left to honor his life and spread cherished memories. My sister’s family has been completely blindsided by the loss of such a huge pillar of their family. His sudden and unexpected loss has completely rocked their foundation.

I created this GoFundMe to help my sister cover the financial burdens associated with raising 3 young children on her own while working full time. Any money donated will be used to do this and to replace items lost in the fire. Anything the kids had on the boat including laptops, clothes and winter gear are all a total loss.
