My name is Kate Banister. On October 21, my son and I were involved in a horrific car accident. By the grace of God, we survived but sustained some serious injuries. My son suffered soft tissue damage and has experienced stomach and back pain. I also have soft tissue damage, a sprained ankle, and a broken sternum. My vehicle is a total loss.

I am a single mom to the most amazing two kids, and I absolutely hate having to ask anyone for help, but the bills are already starting to pile up, and I don’t know when I will be able to return to work. I also have to purchase a new vehicle. Obviously, no one is ever prepared for something like this, but my whole world has been completely flipped upside down.

It isn’t easy to ask friends, family, and complete strangers for help, but if you can find it in your hearts to help, it would mean the world to me. I know everyone is going through something right now, and if all you can do is share this, I am forever grateful.
