Karina Pelini, as some of you may know, others will not, was diagnosed a few years ago with rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatoid lung, sjogrens and interstitial lung disease. There is no cure for any of it. Last Friday afternoon she had to go to the ER. She was having severe abdominal pain, and nausea etc. She was concerned that it might be her appendix. After 6 hours, medication, a cat scan, it was determined not to be her appendix. The cat scan showed inflammation in her small bowel and other places in her abdomen. The ER doctor said was probably from her RA. She will need to see her Cleveland doctor. With her sudden unexpected move, her resources are depleted. Usually she saves for her Cleveland trips. Cleveland clinic is 3.5 hours one way and her appointments take all day. She gets a hotel room so it’s not so tiring. With this onset of new pain and symptoms she will need to get there sooner rather than later. If you can donate, it is so appreciated. If not, no worries, please share if you can.
